<p>That is the potential Hydrogen in your body.</p>
<p>Scientists can determine if a liquid is acidic or alkaline by simply testing the pH.</p>
<p>The pH scale ranges from 0-14 with 7 being neutral.</p>
<p><strong>Readings below 7&nbsp;are acidic and above 7 are alkaline.</strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">A one point decrease</span> on the pH scale indicates that a <span style="text-decoration: underline;">liquid is 10 times more acidic.</span></p>
<p>For example soft/soda drinks have an alkalinity of about 2.</p>
<p>This means sodas/soft drinks are 100,000 more acidic to your body than distilled water.</p>

<p>What are the best food to maintain alkalinity?</p>
<p>Fresh,raw organic foods are best.</p>
<p>If you can grow them yourself this is a huge benefit.</p>
<p>The green vegetables are best.</p>
<p>Avoid too much fruit as it becomes sugar in your system and can be acidic to the body.</p>
<p>Fruit that controls acid in your body are: apples,apricots,bananas,blackberries,cherries,grapefruit,grapes,lemons,small amount of oranges,peaches,pears,pineapples,strawberries and watermelon.</p>
