You are given one magnificent body so we need to educate ourselves on HOW to look after it!
Remember the saying 'the best things in life are free!'
Unfortunately sometimes because we get our body at no cost we tend to treat it badly and almost ignore its welfare.
We eat what we like, we drink what we like, in sometimes ridiculous amounts without considering whether it is good for our bodies.
We are at the mercy of the manipulation of the media and we don't even THINK!
Our choices don't often consider whether what we are eating,drinking,washing in and so on, are good or in the best interests of our health!
What are the KEYS to a healthy Life?
The keys to a healthy life are also the keys to LONGEVITY!
Most people living in a Western society do not live as long as they are genetically programmed to live.
We develop a disease or illness and spend the last 10-15 years with that illness and we die prematurely.
This is a decision, a choice we have to make!
Yes! We can choose by our actions, whether we want to die early, or give ourselves the chance to live our life full term as we are genetically programmed to, and then die healthy!!
What are the KEYS to a healthy life?
Live in a non toxic environment.
This is not easy to do as the air we breathe, the food we eat and the water we drink are often
polluted! We need to minimise the toxicity by the choices we make.
We need to buy safe products to wash our hair,skin and clothes. A lot of products are made from
petrochemicals. A lot of cosmetics are toxic.
Have an alkalinised body system
Disease and illness thrive in an acidic environment but can't survive in an alkaline environment.
'Alkalinity' equals oxygen and oxygen equals good health.
Alkalinity is measured by ph (potential hydrogen).
The body needs to stay at a constant 7.4 ph if it goes up or down 0.2 ph we are likely to die.
The body is so miraculously designed it monitors the ph and balances it when it fluctuates.
But this can come at a price, as the body is put under stress when it has to do this and cannibalises
on the minerals from our bones,teeth and muscles.
We want to avoid the need for the body to do this so we must maintain the 7.4 ph by drinking very
little soft/soda/drinks,reduce alcohol and coffee,most sports drinks and any foods that contain
sugar.Potatoes,pasta,white rice,food from white flour (bread) turn into sugar when digested.
Stay alkaline by drinking properly constituted living water and eating fresh raw food especially green
vegetables.
- Stay well hydrated with clean living properly constituted water.
Drink more than 2 litres of water a day.
Tea( except green tea),coffee and fruit juice are not water.They are often acidic and promote
dehydration.
Our bodies are 73% water and this must be maintained.
We can lose 21/2 litres a day with urination,perspiration and respiration.
Dehydration is a primary reason for day time fatigue and can slow metabolism as much as 3%.
Just a 1%-2% drop in body water can impair mental focus,concentration and physical performance.
A major cause of back ache is dehydration.

- Eat properly constituted living food.
51% of our food intake each day should be raw, preferably organic food.
As mentioned above,avoid white foods and eat mostly green vegetables especially
broccoli,chinese greens,beans,peas.
The best meat is organic chicken and turkey.
Our body finds it hard to digest red meat.
Eat a lot of fish especially deep water oily fish like sardines,salmon and tuna.
Avoid take away foods and anything generally packaged in plastic.
Check there are no preservatives in foods.This eliminates most food bought at the
supermarket.
- Be active.Don't be a couch potato.Do activities that sustain a raised blood pulse for 30 +minutes.
Only eat what you can use up during the day. If you don't burn off the energy from the food
you eat you will put on weight and this could lead to disease.
Being active is also great for the mind.
- Have a positive attitude and an optimism for the future.
Some people have a faith/religion,others meditate/pray and this has shown to add years to
people's lives.
Remember to be grateful and to be able to forgive others and forgive yourself for past wrongs.
Be humble and serve others when you get or make the opportunity.
